The Generals

Sixty six Generals. Recruit them all.

Each one painted for the game. Win them on campaign, recruit them in the Tavern, or petition the Court.

Meet all sixty six

How it works

The day's orders.

Run a campaign, collect your territories, raid a rival, and the day's orders are done.

  • A walled city by a river, under a palace on the hill

    Campaigns

Spend Energy on eighty campaigns in eight chapters, from the Yellow Turban Rebellion to the fall of the Kingdoms.

  • A line of officers under red and gold banners

    Retinue

Recruit Generals in the Tavern or win them on campaign. Your strongest ride with you into every fight.

  • Riders charging a burning fortress gate at night

    Raids

Take Copper and Honor from real warlords near your level, and bank your own before they come for it.

Choose a side

Wei, Shu, or Wu.

Swear to one at level 5. Generals of your Kingdom fight a tenth stronger, and all the Honor you win counts toward its weekly war.

  • Wei

The north, and the throne it keeps

Cao Cao holds the Han emperor and rules in his name. Wei is the largest army and the coldest counsel.

20 Generals swear to it, and they fight a tenth stronger for you.

  • Shu

The oath in the peach garden

Liu Bei claims the Han by blood and holds the west. Shu is the smallest of the three and the loudest in legend.

20 Generals swear to it, and they fight a tenth stronger for you.

  • Wu

The river, and everything behind it

The Sun family holds the Yangtze, and the Yangtze holds off everyone. Wu wins by choosing its ground.

20 Generals swear to it, and they fight a tenth stronger for you.

The Kingdom War

It runs every week, Monday to Sunday. Every point of Honor a member wins adds to their Kingdom's total, attacking or defending, and a camp that holds earns Honor too. The winning side is paid in Merit, and everyone else takes half.

Lu Bu is the prize, and the war is the only place he exists. The hundred members who gained the most Honor take five of his shards each week, and a hundred shards assemble him. That is twenty qualifying weeks at best, ranked across all three Kingdoms, so a player on a losing side is never shut out of him.

Hold the land

The land pays while you are gone.

Buy a farmstead with your first Copper and it pays every hour after that. Eight kinds of holding, each dearer and each worth more, all the way to a palace.

  • FarmsteadOpens at level 10Copper an hour
  • MarketOpens at level 40Copper an hour
  • Iron MineOpens at level 90Copper an hour
  • GarrisonOpens at level 150Copper an hour
  • River PortOpens at level 240Copper an hour
  • Silk WorkshopOpens at level 350Copper an hour

Income gathers while the app is shut and waits up to 8 hours for you, so a day you cannot play is a day you collect rather than a day you lost.

Questions

When does it launch?

Soon, on iPhone and Android. Everyone on the waitlist gets one email the day it opens, with the link that claims the Founder's Seal.

Is it free?

Yes. The whole game is free to play. Jade and the Imperial Seal, a monthly or annual subscription, are optional purchases.

Is it pay to win?

No. The Imperial Seal is speed, not strength: Energy and Stamina refill faster and the treasury charges no fee, but it adds nothing to your attack or defense. Jade buys summons, every player earns Jade from the daily orders, and the odds of every summon are shown before you summon.

Which platforms?

iPhone and Android phones. Link Apple or Google in the game and your warlord is safe if you change phones.

Is this an official game?

No. It is an original work by Gitkonek Studio, set in the Three Kingdoms era with its historical figures, and not affiliated with any other Three Kingdoms game, novel adaptation, or film.
